Esperanza Joins the Cyberport Incubation Programme to Build Hong Kong’s Digital Gold Infrastructure
Inside the government-owned, State-level incubator, Esperanza sets out to take digital gold from Hong Kong to ASEAN and the Middle East

Hong Kong, 28 October 2026
Esperanza¹ has joined the Cyberport Incubation Programme. Wholly owned by the HKSAR Government and recognised by the Ministry of Science and Technology as a State-level Scientific and Technological Enterprise Incubator, Cyberport is where Hong Kong grows its technology champions: its 2,400-company community includes 30 listed companies and 10 unicorns.
Esperanza joins as Hong Kong sets out to become a gold trading hub, an ecosystem named in the city’s first Five-Year Plan. ESPG digital gold² is built for that ambition. It takes Hong Kong’s traditional gold instalment club online: clients save in any amount, move ESPG between verified accounts in seconds, and redeem 100,000 ESPG for a 1 kg bar. The group’s tokenised investment platform has completed five projects for professional investors³.
In Singapore, Esperanza Fintech (Commodities) Limited Singapore Branch has been registered with Singapore’s Ministry of Law as a regulated dealer since 1 October 2026. Its registered regulated activities are issuing, redeeming and dealing in asset-backed tokens (ESPG digital gold).
The partnership is already working: Cyberport nominated ESPG for the ET Net FinTech Awards 2025/26, where it won Outstanding Tokenized Architecture and Solution. On 2 November, Ronald Leung joins Cyberport on a Hong Kong FinTech Week panel moderated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Abroad, Cyberport has connected Esperanza to world-class programmes such as Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s technology ecosystem backed by the sovereign investor Mubadala.
