Markets / Gold & Commodities
Gold is familiar. Its financial form matters.
Physical substance, legal rights and redemption arrangements determine what a gold product actually provides.
Understand ESPG
The starting point
A long history does not remove today's risks.
Gold has long been used as a store of value. Its price can still fall, and a certificate introduces legal and issuer-related considerations that differ from holding a bar directly.
Understand both sides of the product.
ESPE Gold connects physical bullion with a digital redemption certificate. The published terms describe the right to redeem, rather than ownership of a particular bar.
Defined by the issuer’s product terms.
Not ownership of a particular bar.
Form. Rights. Redemption.
These are separate questions, and each deserves an answer.
A framework for understanding, not an offering or a product specification.
A foundation for further development.
Connecting gold to settlement across the wider ecosystem is part of Esperanza's development work. Other commodity products and gold-linked financing are longer-term possibilities, not current offers.
